GENERAL RULE
|
|
Back underband rides up
|
Lengthen the straps. Try a smaller band size or choose a tighter
setting on the band. |
The band should fit straight across the back. The lower edge should
anchor just below the shoulder blades. Remember the lower the back band fits,
the more support you get. |
| Underband digs in at the base
of the cup |
Try a looser hook placement Try a larger band size. Try a La Senza
Dreamshapers bra extender . |
It should be comfortable enough to slip a finger underneath the
band at the base of the cup. |
| Centre lifts away
from the breastbone |
Increase the cup size. If this doesn’t help a different
style is needed. |
The center should fit close to the breastbone and not
stand away at the center. |
| Underband is too tight |
Try a looser hook placement. Try increasing the band size. Try a La
Senza Dreamshaper bra extender. |
The band should fit closely but comfortably around the torso, if it
leaves red marks on the skin it is too tight. |
| Breasts are dropping or sagging
(bad projection) |
Tighten the straps. Try a smaller cup size or style (cups are
either too big or too deep). Try inserting La Senza Illusions for a fuller
look. |
Good projection means that the middle of the breast is at a
90-degree angle with the floor. The best solution for sagging breasts of any
size is a full cup bra. Push up or Demi-cup styles will not provide adequate
support. |
| Straps dig into shoulders |
Loosen the straps. Try a bra with wider straps. Try placing bra
strap pads under the straps (if available). |
Normally straps will be loosened to about half way, if they leave
red marks in the shoulders, they are too tight. |
| Overflow of breast tissue from
cup |
Increase the cup size. Try a larger band size. |
A well-fitting bra should contain all of the breast tissue inside
the cup. |
